Fundraisers
Mike Bristol, along with the seven enterprises who own the Inside High School Sports Show, has proudly teamed up with the American Cancer Society and Syracuse University basketball coach Jim Boeheim in several successful fundraising efforts throughout Central New York.
This included, on Sept. 9, 2008, the inaugural Jim Boeheim Golf Classic, held at the Turning Stone Resort, which helped raise $75,000 for the American Cancer Society.
Back in June, Jim and Juli Boeheim, along with Mike Bristol, AAA and Royal Carribean, presented "Cruise For A Cure", a five-night cruise to help raise money for Coaches vs. Cancer, a charity near and dear to coach Boeheim's heart, since he is a cancer survivor and lost both of his parents to this dreaded disease.
Supercuts became the title sponsor of this unique cruise, and registered fans at its numerous locations throughout Central New York.
